Tenops is an Russian nu-metal band from St. Petersburg, Russia, formed in 2016. Originally formed in may 2016 by five members: Eugene Zhukov (vocals), Tania Ditina (guitar), Alexander Tyutenkov (bass), Eugene Mayevsky (guitar), Alexey Grabovsky (drums). All band members was born and raised in East Kazakhstan. Through an amazing combination of circumstances, all the band members gathered in St. Petersburg a long time after they stopped communicating in Kazakhstan.

Tenops released their first album, Relations
After the recording of the album, the first music video on "Dancing on the Fire" was shot. Drum parts were recorded by Daniil (Stewart) Svetlov, known as Amatory band drummer.
During some time the band joined Maxim Vasiliev. And just as quickly left the band due the different musical views.
